Easy to use:
Set the blade kerf with the MATCHFIT Setup Gauge. Trim the full kerf of your table saw blade for your own personal template. This will ensure consistent results every time you use this table saw blade.
Measure the actual part that will be fitted. Place the piece of stock to be fitted into the dado against the Setup Gauge, using it as a square.
Using the legs as a stop, make your shoulder cuts, then clear the center.
Insert the inlay material. A perfect fit, every time.
Micro Jig MatchFit Dado Stop Pro
Micro Jig’s MatchFit Dado Stop Pro is a new, all-in-one package that replaces your endless trial & error and measuring with a fully automatic setup for perfect cross-grain dados, intricate joinery, and precise inlays.
Use any standard table saw blade – no dado blades needed. No measuring needed either, because the Dado Stop compensates for the blade\’s kerf, then uses the physical thickness of the mating board to automatically match the dado’s width up to 13/16\”. Blades with flat-topped teeth leave the smoothest bottom but are not required.
When using blades 3/8\” or narrower, the Setup Gauge saves time by recording the exact blade kerf with a single cut, then transferring that info to the Dado Stop. Recording the kerf is a one-time step, and then setting the Dado Stop for the dado\’s mating board can be done in seconds with a single knob anytime you are using that blade.
The MatchFit Dovetail Clamp attaches the Dado Stop to your rip fence, but it’s so useful for other jobs, you will want to order an extra pair! This innovative clamp slides anywhere along a groove routed with a common 1/2\” – 14° dovetail bit and leaves one surface of your work clear of obstructions, opening up a range of applications beyond what conventional clamps can handle.
